C3 is a blue film capacitor instead of the yellow one shown in the parts list

This is a confirmed substitution due to the yellow part becoming obsolete. The blue 1nF film capacitor is the correct part for C3, not a mis-shipped component.

LF or HF trim pot has no tactile click

Some trim pots lack a detent feel even when working correctly, which makes it hard to tell by feel alone whether you're at the right setting. Use a multimeter to calibrate the pot position by resistance rather than relying on feel.
